My African Journey

I had the amazing privilege of returning to Africa in 2007. I stayed with a wonderful host family for one month in the capitol city of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, West Africa.

There I met many orphans. These children were some of the happiest, most thankful children I've ever known. There are now more than 150,000,000 orphans in the world.

They need your help to meet their basic needs.

ACTS Ministry shows God's love in tangible ways to the most vulnerable individuals in Burkina Faso—orphans and widows who have been affected by poverty and the AIDS pandemic. They are the forgotten ones. ACTS gives them hope.

ACTS Ministry provides education, healthcare, food, training for life, spiritual guidance from the Word of God and loving care to smooth the pain and sorrow of widows and children and to restore their dignity.

The United Nations Human Development Index (HDI) ranks Burkina Faso as one of the poorest countries in the world —173 out of 179 countries. ACTS works together with widows and orphans to fight the fierce enemies of poverty, sickness and ignorance.
